Student Sharing | Le stelle di domani - Medhi Walerski | Il Balletto di Venezia
Intensive & Focus on Creation
The evening begins with a performance by the students who took part in choreographer Medhi Walerski’s Intensive training programme.
The rest of the evening is devoted to “Le stelle di domani”, a project by Balletto di Venezia and Alessio Carbone that brings together a select group of young dancers, chosen from prestigious institutions including the Paris Opera Ballet School, The Royal Ballet School, Royal Swedish Ballet School, Royal Danish Ballet School, Académie Princesse Grace, Accademia Teatro alla Scala, European School of Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre Studio Company.
The initiative offers these newly-graduated dancers the opportunity to work together and present their artistry in a professional performance environment. The program features a curated selection of classical and neoclassical repertoire alongside contemporary works by internationally recognized choreographers.
A central highlight of the evening will be a new work by Medhi Walerski, developed within the framework of the residency at Orsolina28. The program will also include works by leading contemporary choreographers such as Alan Lucien Øyen, Simone Valastro, Mauro de Candia, Kinsun Chan, Constant Vigier, and Ruaidhrí Maguire, some of whom may join the creative process in person during the residency period.
In line with our values of inclusion and accessibility, all of our presentations are open to the community at no cost (reservations are required and all donations are welcomed).
