Focus on Creation

Join us for an evening discovering the projects selected for Call for Creation '26, Orsolina28 Art Foundation's grant dedicated to emerging young talent.

The presentation begins with “Extreme States of Being” by Nicola Wills. The work was inspired by the choreographer's visit to the Edvard Munch Museum and the artist's famous painting “The Scream”, which becomes a metaphor for the body: strong enough to bear our emotional weight, but so fragile that immense emotional force creates physical action, such as a scream, a cry or a laugh.

The evening continues with Helena Olmedo Duynslaeger's “Fareras”, a work developed around travel, hope and memory and centred on the image of a lighthouse. Women on stage revisit myths and traditions handed down in patriarchal societies, recreating a rich world of images and movements, reshaping narratives through their own bodily perspective.

In line with our values of inclusion and accessibility, all of our presentations are open to the community at no cost (reservations are required and all donations are welcomed).
