Orsolina28 Art Foundation is honoured to invite the community to join an evening of dance and celebration to mark the end of the "Still I Dance - Rising Together" program.

Born of the collaboration between Orsolina28, Still I Rise (an international foundation that provides free, high-quality education to children in need) and Alessio Carbone (Artistic Director of Balletto di Venezia), the project invites 16 students from the Still I Rise International School - Nairobi to join a one-week choreographic lab in Orsolina28.

Throughout the week, the participants have studied and danced with Carbone himself and a series of internationally-renowned artists, including Guillaume Diop (Paris Opera), Abou Rutayisire (Ballet de Barcelona) and Touve Ratovondrahety (pianist and composer).

This evening sharing is a result of what the students have practiced and includes excerpts from contemporary dance works, improvisation sessions and urban dance choreographies.

In line with our values of inclusion and accessibility, all of our presentations are open to the community at no cost (reservations are required and all donations are welcomed).
